Race Description

The event is a sprint-distance triathlon. 750 meters swim, 22k cycle and a 7k run. It will be held in Kilalloe, Co. Clare. The swim will be held in Lough Derg. The transition is around the Twomilegate area of the lake. The bike section is on the Kilalloe to Tuamgraney road. Finally, the run will either be held in the nearby Ballycuggaran woods.

For safety reasons the event is limited to 500 entrants, including 50 relay teams. Relay teams can comprise of either two or three people.

The online entry will be done through Event Elephant. The race registration will be held in Venue TBC on Friday the 6th of August from 7pm to 9pm, and on the 7th of August from 8am to 10am.

Triathlon Ireland membership cards and one day license certificates will be checked at registration. All competitors will be required to sign a disclaimer and a swim proficiency declaration during registration.

Competitors with any medical conditions will be required to inform us at the time of registration.
